The 2012 Honda CR-V Concept offers the first official description of the management style to the next generation, the fourth CR-V will go on sale in the U.S. later this year, American Honda Motor Co., Inc., announced today.
"2012 CR-V Concept's design is more elegant, sophisticated and dynamic production model of the future," said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda. "Long regarded as a reference point for the packaging and user-friendly design in the small SUV segment, all-new CR-V offers a new dimension of style, amazing versatility and the latest Honda technology interior comfort and refinement."
CR-V The concept embraces a distinctive style and bold leadership selling1 high SUV in the United States. Compared with the current generation CR-V, the concept of model has a more aggressive stance with the body of deep sculpted lines and a more aggressive front fascia. Good performance of the lines of the front bumper is highlighted by a horizontal bar grille and three multi-reflector headlamps sunk. The lower front bumper neatly wrapped to give a capacity of SUV with a generous approach angle, while the design below the front bumper now features more easily with the fascia to improve aerodynamics.
The CR-V, vertical taillamps remain firm for the year 2012 with a shell of three-dimensional style still in the vehicle design. The concept of large CR-V, 5 machined alloy wheels and fender flares to highlight in bold the presence of vehicle dynamics and capacity.
The all-new 2012 CR-V will be to improve the current model in a variety of ways, and will include a more fuel efficient engines and reduced body weight. Beyond all-new exterior design, the 2012 CR-V has an entirely new interior design with a more welcoming and spacious with a lower level of the cargo.
Currently in its fifth year of continuous cycle model CR-V for sale at a record pace. In 2011, the CR-V was among the highest rated vehicles in its segment in initial quality by JD Power & Associates Initial Quality Study '2011 (IQS), where he finished second behind the Honda Element in the compact SUV segment. CR-V is sold worldwide in over 160 countries throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
